TRAVEL WRITING: DUBLIN STUDY ABROAD

In the summer of 2017, I had the opportunity with Grady College to travel to Dublin, Ireland for a travel journalism course. While in Dublin, I experienced what it was like to find a story in a foreign city, and how pleasantly surprising strangers can be.

The article, linked below, is my final narrative piece. A local restaurant owner Tom O'Connell tells the story of his restaurant & his family's long traditions in Irish cuisine. Although O'Connell is humble, I believe Irish cooking wouldn't be the same without his family.
