PHOTOS
Over the past year, I've expanded my focus from print journalism, to photojournalism. I had the opportunity to attend the National Press Photographer Association's Northern Short Course in Washington, D.C. in March with my Documentary Photo class.

Photojournalism has allowed me to explore storytelling through a lens. It's allowed me to tell the stories of local musicians, tattoo artists and athletes. Everyone has a story. Through photo, I've found a new way to challenge myself as a journalist.

In the past few weeks, celebrities like Will Farrel and Oprah Winfrey have even volunteered to canvass for Stacey Abrams by going door-to-door in Georgia.
